About Stephanie

Detroit, Michigan native, Stephanie Briscoe-Jackson, had an early life immersion into the world of professional music; she is a Motown Brat, daughter of Pervis Jackson of the Spinners. She has had classical voice training under the guidance of the highly renowned, Dr. Nellie Huger-Ebersole at Detroit’s Art Center Music School from 1979 to 1985

As a performer, she is a late bloomer the former civil servant.is now a regular on the Detroit musical scene. She has performed at many of the more popular Detroit night spots and many major venues. She has to her credit an onstage performance with the world famous Spinners.

Stephanie’s voice has been described by many as “sensuously sultry”. Her styling is jazzy and definitely exhibits her musical maturity. Though she has the jazzy voice, Stephanie can get down and have audiences "Hustling & Ballrooming" with the best of them. She is equally at home with a rocking and funky dance tune as she is with a sensuous love ballad. She has an amazing command of the audience when onstage and is a musical phenomenon that keeps audiences wanting more. Her new self produced Mini Cd is full of great examples of this rising star's immense talent & musical range.

Offstage she is a self described, introvert, but…. when Stephanie is on stage ..a musical treat is in store.
